Blogggg I've missed you so much. When I started the Jetsetter Diaries series in 2021, I wanted to create an outlet to share my travels, what I'm doing, business updates, dating life endeavors, and much more. Think Instagram stories but much more intimate. Well, due to popular demand and my love of sharing these updates, the Jetsetter Diaries is back!!! I am beyond due to give you updates on what's been happening in my life.
For starters, this year had been filled with more travel than ever. Three years ago, I was on the phone with my mom on the verge of overwhelmed-fueled tears because I had three weekend trips planned in one month. The thought of that much travel back then instiled anxiety within me. Today, I am practically known for how much and how well I travel. Just ask the TGIF in terminals A and C at DFW. If Maddie three years ago could only see Maddie now!! I'm grateful for the progress I've made through the years.
If you've been here before, you know the typical structure of these posts: Intro, Business Goals Achieved, Travels, and Life Lately. Since I've done a whole lot of all of those things since January, this post will include highlights. I promise you, there's a lot of good content in this post. Here's what I've been up to lately:
Business goals achieved - In the very first Jetsetter Diaries post, I shared how excited I was for my very first pop-up store for Cabo Couture and that I hoped that I could do many more. If you asked me off the top of my head how many I've done in this year alone, I couldn't tell you. I feel so blessed to have grown my business into a brand I love and am so proud of. One of the biggest highlights of Cabo Couture has been hiring a team that helps the business run. I can credit Ceci, my VP of Operations, with some or truly most of Cabo Couture's growth. Ceci helps me ship orders, pack pop-up store packages that get shipped across the US, and comes up with marketing ideas that blow my mind. I think it's important to hire people that take ownership of your brand and who take initiative. I am so excited to see where Cabo Couture goes this year!
Travels - I feel as though I've spent more time in the air than on the ground. Here's just some of the travel I've done this year:

Whether I'm traveling with family, friends, or alone, the consistent feeling of joy radiates within me as the plane takes off. When the plane touches down my heart beats fast, eager to discover what this new trip has in store. When I was in high school, I remember my mom sharing with me that when she would work in NYC her heart would race as she crossed the bridge to New York, ready to work on whatever project she had at the time in a city that never sleeps. I understand that feeling now more than ever.
Life Lately - The past few months have been incredible. I've grown my business, had fun dating, and cultivated and sustained friendships across the US. Here are some of my favorite photos from the past 6 months. Come back next month for July's update!
