Life Update - I Started a Business!

I remember it like it was yesterday - when I was growing up I meticulously worked on creating things to sell on my parent's driveway each weekend. I didn't settle for lemonade. I created jewelry, smoothies, potholders, and I think I even sold drawings of peoples dogs as they walked by once or twice. I created websites and sold things on Etsy before it was mainstream. I always had a knack for creating things and found that it sparked joy in me more than anything else. Earlier this year, I was inspired to create a line of swimwear and active wear that invoked the same feelings I have when visiting my favorite place in the world, Cabo. When I'm in Cabo I feel renewed, I have fun, and I'm most confident in myself. I wanted to create a line of pieces that made me feel the way I do there wherever I go. So, I leaned in on the fearlessness I curated from a young age and went for it. I started my own business and I'm calling it Cabo Couture.

The times we live in are unprecedented. We all are living in active wear as we dial in to our Zoom calls and dreaming of the days when we can travel freely again. So whether you wear Cabo Couture on a tropical beach or in your backyard, I wanted to design pieces that make you feel fun, flirty, and confident.

I'm so excited to embark on this journey and can't wait to share it all with you. Starting a business takes a lot of risk, but I know this is what I was meant to do. I read once that you should live each day as if your childhood self was watching you and to ask yourself if you're making them proud. I never settled for just selling lemonade and I'm not stopping now. I can't wait to see what the future holds! You can check out my new venture at cabocouture.com! I hope you love it!
