The Skin Care Routine That Changed My Skin

Recently, I changed my skincare and saw dramatic results. I was sick of waking up with breakouts and dry skin. My skin type is what an esthetician would call "classic combination skin". Its dry in some areas and normal-oily in others, making it hard for me to balance the right products. I started taking the initiative in finding the skincare routine that worked for me best and I couldn't be more excited to share it with you today!

Morning Routine:

I start each morning by washing my face with cold water and CeraVe Hydrating Facial Wash. After that, I put a few drops of Elimis Pro-Collagen Marine Oil in my hands and put a light layer all over my face and neck. Then comes the part that I switch up from time to time - my daily moisturizer. I go back and forth between the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream and the Elimis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream. Both are incredible, but I like to switch it up so my skin can get the benefits of multiple products.

Night Time Routine:

I always start with Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes that you can find at any drug store. I haven't found a makeup wipe that I like more. Once my skin is free of makeup, I wash my face again with my CeraVe Hydrating Facial Wash and finish with Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream or Ponds Hydrating Dry Skin Cream (you can find this stuff anywhere!)

Face Masks & Extras

I love to do a face mask once a week. Right now, my favorites are the Bliss Holographic Sheet Masks. The Mario Badescu Facial Spray is great to put on your skin at any time, but I love traveling with this because its perfect for hydrating dry skin on the go.

Taking care of my skin changed me for the better. The results I saw once I started taking the time to care for my skin every day were incredible. I'd love to know what your skin care routine is and what you use! Do you like the classics like Ponds Cold Creme or do you like to try out trendy skin care?

Here are some great gift sets to give to others (or yourself) this holiday season!
